This box is made from a special kind of handmade lokta bark paper high up in the Himalayas.  The paper was used in Nepal for royal decrees because it’s traditionally believed to last for 1,000 years.  But this handcrafted paper’s true beauty comes from the difference it make. It has improved the lives of over14,000 people in Nepal. Mothers can send their children to school and become providers with their income. Fathers who had to leave for work can now find it in their communities.
